If you've got a set of plans and need parts cut for/from them, we can help! To have us give you a price quote, here's what we'll need from you first...

What We Need From You:

You Can Either Send Your Plans To Us OR...

You Can Scan The Parts You Need Into Your Computer And Send Them To Us Via Email As Images, Such As .jpg's, .gif's or .bmp Files.

If You Email The Parts To Us, We Need To Have Some Type Of Measurement Reference For Each Part

We Will Also Need To Know What Type Of Wood & Thickness Each Part Is Made Of (Example: Rib Is 3/32" Balsa OR Former Is 1/8" Lite Ply, etc.)

Once we receive all of this information, we will email or call you with a price quote within 1 week. It usually takes less time than this, but also depends on our current work-load.

Making Your Own Rough Guesstimates...

You can make a guesstimate on your own using the following formulas...

For Anything Cut From Balsa Sheet: First, figure the price of the sheet from Balsa USA, then add $5.00 per sheet for CAD/CAM and cutting charges.

For Anything Cut From Balsa Block: First, figure the price of the block from Balsa USA, then add $8.00 per block for CAD/CAM and cutting charges.

For Anything Cut From Lite Ply Sheet: First, figure the price of the ply sheet from Balsa USA then add $10.00 per sheet for CAD/CAM and cutting charges.

For Anything Cut From Aircraft Ply: First, figure the price of the aircraft ply from Balsa USA then add $12.00 per sheet for CAD/CAM and cutting charges.

For Anything Cut From Basswood/Spruce: First, figure the price of the basswood/spruce from Balsa USA then add $8.00 per sheet for CAD/CAM and cutting charges.

The above formulas will get you very close to what we will need to charge for our time and labour in the project.

Also remember, unless you have already done the work for us, we will need to spend the time importing images of parts and creating CAD/CAM files from your plans for our CNC machine to use in the cutting process. Many times, this can be very labour intensive and costly.
