The Nick Ziroli designed Fokker DR1 Triplane is truly a super fun RC airplane to have in your hanger. I've owned and operated one of these for many years now, and it is one of the funnest rc airplanes I own and fly. It also draws many onlookers while at the flying field.

Long Kit:About The Long Kit: The long kit comes with all balsa, basswood, and hardwood needed to complete the project, as well as a cowl, pre-formed wire parts, screws, nuts, bolts, and a set of Dubro vintage wheels to top off your long kit. You Need To Supply: The engine of your choice from a 35cc to 42cc gas engine. I run a U.S. Engines 41cc in mine, and it definitely has plenty of power for this airplane. You'll also need muffler, prop, fuel tank and line, covering, paint, glue, radio equipment, and of course a set of the DR1 triplane plans from Nick Ziroli Plans.

Mid Kit:About The Mid Kit: The mid kit comes with everything in the long kit except the Dubro vintage wheels and the cowl. You Need To Supply: The engine of your choice from a 35cc to 42cc gas engine, muffler, prop, fuel tank and line, covering, paint, glue, radio equipment, wheels, cowl, and of course a set of the DR1 triplane plans from Nick Ziroli Plans.

Short Kit:About The Short Kit: The short kit comes with pre-cut wing ribs, formers, and anything else that needs to be cut from balsa/wood/hardwood/etc. from the plans. We'll also supply you with the pre-formed wire parts as well. You Need To Supply: You'll supply all standard balsa and wood parts that do not need to be cut, such as dowls, sticks, and sheets. You'll also need to supply the cowl. You'll need an engine of your choice from a 35cc to 42cc gas engine. You'll need a muffler, prop, fuel tank and line, covering, paint, glue, radio equipment, wheel set, and of course a set of the DR1 triplane plans from Nick Ziroli Plans.
