RC Airplane Kits

As you will notice while looking over our kit offerings, we offer a few different kits, short kits, mid kits, and long kits. I will explain the differences here for you now.

Long Kits: Long Kits are ment to come as close to a full RC aircraft model kit as is possible. With our long kits, we supply everything that is needed to complete a model airplane building project just like many of the commercial suppliers do today with their "off the shelf" kits.

Like many of the trainer type kits you can purchase today, these kits include wheels, cowls, pre-bent wire parts, nuts, bolts, and screws. All you need to supply is the typical equipment as you would with any RC airplane kit you would purchase from the showroom floor, such as engine, radio gear, glue, covering, and so-forth.

Mid Kits: Mid Kits are ment to fill the gap between the Long Kits, and the Short Kits. These kits contain all of the pre-cut wood parts, pre-bent wire parts, and all of the other wood that's needed to complete the construction of the model such as sheet balsa and sticks, unless otherwise noted.

What's not included in the Mid Kits are the wheels, cowls, wheel pants, and other "dress-up" parts.

Short Kits: Our Short Kits are for those builders who want nothing more than all of the pre-cut wood parts and pre-bent wire parts. Builders who purchase our Short Kits already have sheet balsa, and balsa sticks and dowls, nuts, bolts, and screws.

All that's supplied in our short kits are the pre-cut wing ribs, formers, and pre-bent wire parts. The builder is expected to supply everything else for the kit.

Plans: We do not supply the plans with our kits. You must purchase the plans for the airplane of your choice from the plan manufacture.
